What's the process to rent a car?
Choose your vehicle for your specific dates, fill out your information, and pay for the reservation. Only paid reservations hold the car — we cannot hold a vehicle without payment. The security deposit is charged separately at pickup.
What are the requirements to book?
Renters must have a valid drivers license and full coverage insurance (collision and comprehensive) that covers the cost of the vehicle.  If a renter does not have qualifying coverage, insurance options are available for purchase through our company.
How old must I be to rent?
Renters between 18 and 20 years old may rent with their own qualifying full coverage insurance (collision and comprehensive) — our in-house counter insurance products are not available to this age group. Renters 21 and older may rent with their own insurance or purchase one of our counter insurance products. Drivers between 21 and 25 are subject to a Young Driver Fee of $50 per day.
What if I don't have full coverage insurance?
We offer in-house coverage options. Liability coverage is $30/day for most vehicles (not available for the Lamborghini Urus or other exotic models). Physical damage coverage is based on vehicle value: $40/day for vehicles under $35K MSRP, $50/day for $35K-$50K MSRP, and $70/day for over $50K MSRP. Most counter insurance products carry a $1,000 deductible. California license holders may qualify for additional lower-cost full coverage options — contact us for details.
Is roadside assistance included?
Roadside assistance is automatically included once you're approved through our counter insurance program (available to renters 25 and older).
How much is the security deposit?
Security deposits are based on vehicle category: $350 for budget vehicles, $500 for luxury vehicles under $50K MSRP, $750 for sport models and luxury SUVs, and $1,500 for exotic vehicles. Deposit amounts may be adjusted based on the renter's insurance policy and other qualifying factors. Your exact deposit will be confirmed at the time of booking.
When is my security deposit refunded?
Once your vehicle is returned and inspected, your deposit is typically refunded within 24 hours. Please allow 1-3 business days for your bank to process the refund, and longer for international banks. If the vehicle sustained damage or other charges are pending, we may withhold the deposit until the reservation is finalized.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, cryptocurrency, all major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, and Zelle.
What documents do I need at pickup?
A valid physical driver's license, proof of full-coverage insurance (or you can purchase our coverage), and the credit card used for booking. Your reservation is subject to a verification check prior to pickup. A physical driver's license must be presented at pickup — if it is not, your reservation will be cancelled with no refund.
What if my reserved vehicle isn't available at pickup?
In the rare event your reserved vehicle isn't available, we'll upgrade you to a comparable or better vehicle at no additional charge, or provide a similar vehicle.
Do your vehicles have GPS tracking?
Yes — all vehicles in our fleet are equipped with GPS tracking for safety and fleet management purposes.
Can Nizo Luxury decline a reservation?
We reserve the right to decline or cancel any reservation at our discretion, without providing a reason.
Do you offer delivery services?
Yes. Delivery and pick-up within a 10-mile radius is $150 round trip. We also offer VIP terminal pickup and drop-off at LAX during business hours for $125 one way. For deliveries beyond that radius, contact our office to arrange custom delivery.
Can multiple guests drive the vehicle?
Multiple drivers are permitted to operate the vehicle provided they are listed on the rental agreement and maintain full coverage insurance.
Is there a mileage limit on the vehicles?
Each vehicle includes an allotted number of free miles per day, which varies by model. For select vehicles, you can add an unlimited miles upgrade — check the booking page for that specific car to see if it's available.
What's your fuel policy?
Return the vehicle with the same fuel level (or charge level for EVs) as when you picked it up. Gas vehicles returned with less fuel are charged for the fuel plus a $20 refueling fee. EVs are billed $0.45/kWh for any charge replenishment needed.
What happens if the car is damaged during my rental?
Notify our office immediately. If another vehicle is involved, do not admit fault or confirm liability at the scene. Collect the other party's information and documents, take photos of the scene and damage, and file a police report. A security deposit hold will be applied toward the damage regardless of fault. Once any applicable insurance claim is settled, we'll notify you of any remaining balance from your security deposit to be returned.
What's your cancellation policy?
Cancel more than 48 hours before your rental for a full refund with no fees. Cancellations within 48 hours forfeit 50% of the rental payment. A no-show (more than 2 hours late without notice) forfeits the full rental payment. Early returns are not eligible for refunds on unused days.
Do you offer one-way rentals (e.g., drop off at the airport)?
Yes — let us know your preferred pickup and drop-off locations when booking and we'll arrange it.
What if I return the car late?
Late returns are billed at our standard daily/partial-day rate, which may be higher than your booked promotional rate. If you need more time, contact us before your scheduled return to request an extension.
Is smoking or vaping allowed in the vehicles?
No — smoking or vaping of any kind is strictly prohibited and results in a $450 smoking fee.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not permitted in our vehicles. If evidence of a pet is found, a pet cleaning fee of $150-$250 applies.
Who's responsible for tolls and parking tickets?
The client is responsible for any tolls, citations, or violations incurred during the rental.
Can I rent for a special event, photo shoot, or wedding?
Yes — many of our vehicles are popular for weddings, photo shoots, and special events. Contact us for availability and any event-specific requirements.
Do you offer long-term, weekly, or monthly rentals?
Yes — contact our office to discuss long-term rental options and rates.
Do you offer rent-to-own vehicles?
Yes — we offer rent-to-own programs on select vehicles. Contact us to learn more about eligibility and available models.
Can I drive to Arizona, Nevada, or other states?
All our vehicles are approved for driving within California. If you're planning an out-of-state trip, please notify us before your departure so we can confirm it's allowed for your specific vehicle.
Do you offer a private chauffeur?
Yes — chauffeur service is available on request, including last-minute reservations. For a Black SUV, the rate is $150/hour with a 4-hour minimum, including 20 miles per hour and gas. Contact us in advance to arrange chauffeur service and pricing for other vehicle types.
Do you accept vehicles on consignment?
Yes — we accept vehicles for consignment. We typically look for newer luxury and exotic models, though we do have an appetite for other vehicles as well. Each vehicle is evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Owners earn a percentage split of the rental income generated by their vehicle, paid out monthly. Contact us to submit your vehicle for evaluation and to discuss consignment terms.
Can international drivers rent an exotic vehicle?
Yes — we can accommodate international drivers renting exotic vehicles. Drivers aged 21-24 are subject to a Young Driver Fee of $175, and insurance for international drivers is $225. Contact us in advance to arrange documentation and confirm eligibility.
