What is the best car for the Pacific Coast Highway?
The PCH is the whole reason to rent in Malibu, and it rewards an open top. A Rolls-Royce Dawn or a Lamborghini Huracan Spider makes the coast road the event; a Porsche convertible is the pure driver's pick for the canyons above. For a beach house with family and gear, a Range Rover or G550 handles the sand-dusted driveways and the freeway run back into town.
Do you deliver to Malibu?

Is a convertible practical for a full day on the coast?
More than you would think. The marine layer usually burns off by late morning, the coast runs warm into the evening, and every convertible we deliver has a roof that goes up in seconds at speed. Take the Boxster or an open-top exotic and you will use it far more than you expect.
Can I keep the car for a coastal weekend?
Multi-day is the most common Malibu booking — a convertible for a weekend on the coast, or an SUV for a family stay at a beach house. Tell us the dates and we build the reservation around them, self-drive or with a chauffeur for the drive up.
Which canyon roads are worth the detour?
Three of them climb off the coast road and all three are worth the morning. Malibu Canyon cuts inland over the ridge; Latigo is the switchback road people drive out from town for; Decker runs across the top towards Mulholland Highway. They are tight, well surfaced and largely empty on a weekday. A Boxster or a Huracan Spider suits them; if the whole party is coming, a Range Rover takes the same roads at a calmer pace.
How far is the drive up the coast?
Topanga to the county line is twenty-one miles, and on a clear weekday morning that is under an hour end to end. Coming out from Beverly Hills, reckon on the better part of an hour to the Pier on a quiet morning and rather more on a summer Saturday, when the traffic builds from mid-morning and the car parks fill. Start early, drive up, eat late, and come back down when the light goes.
