No Seams, In Bronze
Bronze Land Rover Range Rover Velar
The best-looking SUV in the fleet, in a warm bronze that goes almost gold in low sun and settles to a deep brown in shade.
A car with almost no decoration lives or dies on how light moves across it. This is the colour that moves it.
The Velar is the Range Rover that was designed as an object first. Flush door handles that rise when you approach, a body with almost no visible seams, and the thinnest headlamps Land Rover has ever fitted — it won design awards on looks alone and then turned out to drive well too. Five seats, a wide flat boot, and the clearance for a canyon turnout or a steep driveway.

A warm bronze is the shade that shows what the Velar is made of. With the black roof, the black wheels and the copper vents in the bumper this one reads as a single sculpted piece, and the paint does the rest — almost gold in the last hour of the afternoon, a deep brown under a porte-cochère. It is the colour every other Velar in Los Angeles is not.
The styling costs some practicality: the sloping tailgate makes the boot long rather than tall, and the slim rear window is what you get for the roofline. It is quiet at freeway speed in a way that makes a long day easy. Three Velars are in the fleet — this one, a silver and a black — and the dates on each page are the car's own.
Almost gold in the last hour.
Deep brown in the shade.
02The honeycomb grille and the slim lamp; the handle flush in the door. Nothing on the car that does not need to be there.

The terms, before you commit
- Refundable deposit
- $750
- A hold, not a charge. Back with you 5–7 business days after the car is home.
- Damage and liability cover
- $100 a day
- Mandatory, and priced off the deposit rather than the rate. Your own qualifying full-coverage policy takes this line out of the quote entirely.
- Driver, 21–24
- $50 a day
- Twenty-one is the floor, with a licence held two years. The higher band applies above a $1,500 deposit; this car is below it.
- Shortest booking
- 24 hours
- No maximum. Delivery is complimentary at our Robertson Boulevard lot and our four Beverly Hills partner hotels; LAX is $75 to the parking structure or $150 to the terminal, each way.
This one is the same rate at every length — it carries no multi-day block, so three days is three times one day. We would rather say that than imply a discount that is not there.
