Colour Silver
Category Luxury SUV
Tier Luxury

Silver is the right colour for a car that is fundamentally about being useful. On a body this long a light metallic breaks the flank with reflection so it does not read as a bus, and it keeps the extra length looking like space rather than like bulk — which is the difference between a family SUV and a shuttle.

It is the least demanding car in this size class to live with. Silver does not show the dust a trailhead car park leaves, does not glare across a long freeway afternoon, and does not heat the cabin the way a dark car does when seven people are climbing back in at four o'clock. This is the practical family choice in the fleet, and it is priced like one.

The L is the Grand Cherokee stretched to take a third row, and unlike most seven-seaters at this size it did not just cram one into the boot. There is real legroom back there, the second row slides and tilts to let people through without gymnastics, and the whole cabin is quiet enough at freeway speed that a conversation between the first and third rows is possible.

Underneath it is the same car: comfortable, well isolated, genuinely capable on a graded dirt road, and easy to place on a narrow street despite the extra length. The V6 is unhurried and the eight-speed automatic stays out of the way.

Honest hook: with all three rows up the boot is modest — a weekend's soft bags rather than seven suitcases. If you need seven people and seven cases, the Cadillac Escalade ESV or the Chevrolet Suburban in the fleet are the cars for it.

  • A third row adults can genuinely sit in
  • Second row slides and tilts — no gymnastics to get in the back
  • Quiet enough to talk front-to-back at freeway speed
  • Silver over bright alloys · $159 a day

The terms, before you commit

Refundable deposit
$500
A hold, not a charge. Back with you 5–7 business days after the car is home.
Damage and liability cover
$75 a day
Mandatory, and priced off the deposit rather than the rate. Your own qualifying full-coverage policy takes this line out of the quote entirely.
Driver, 21–24
$50 a day
Twenty-one is the floor, with a licence held two years. The higher band applies above a $1,500 deposit; this car is below it.
Shortest booking
24 hours
No maximum. Delivery is complimentary at our Robertson Boulevard lot and our four Beverly Hills partner hotels; LAX is $75 to the parking structure or $150 to the terminal, each way.

This one is the same rate at every length — it carries no multi-day block, so three days is three times one day. We would rather say that than imply a discount that is not there.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to rent a Jeep Grand Cherokee L in Los Angeles?
$159 a day, with multi-day and weekly stays discounted. Delivery is complimentary to our Beverly Hills partner hotels.
How is it different from the standard Grand Cherokee?
About a foot longer, with a third row. Five seats become seven, and the two cars are otherwise the same to drive. The shorter one is easier to park; this one carries the extra two people.
Does it fit seven people and their luggage?
Seven people, yes. Seven people and full-size suitcases, no — with the third row up the boot takes soft bags. For that combination take the Cadillac Escalade ESV or the Chevrolet Suburban.
What do I need to rent it, and can international guests book?
A full licence held for at least a year, a major credit card in the driver's name, and proof of insurance. International guests can rent on a passport and home-country licence. A refundable security deposit is held and returned in 5–7 business days.
Is this the only three-row Jeep you have?
It is. The fleet's other three-row cars are the Cadillac Escalade ESV, the Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe, and the Audi Q7 — all larger and all dearer.
Is silver a dull choice for a family trip?
It is the sensible one. If the car matters to the occasion, the white Grand Cherokee is the sharper-looking of the two Jeeps in this style — it just has two fewer seats.

We rented the Urus for 2 days while in town for World Cup, they accommodated a last second booking, made the whole process a breeze, and picked the car up from the airport for us so we could save some time before leaving, all at a great price for what was offered. Would definitely rent from them again!
