Chartreuse Rolls-Royce Spectre from a front three-quarter on a palm-lined Beverly Hills street

No Engine No Noise

Rolls-Royce Spectre

The first electric Rolls-Royce: a long two-door coupé in chartreuse, coach doors, a starlit cabin and silence at every speed.

A Rolls-Royce has always been quiet. This is the first one with nothing to be quiet about.

The Spectre is the first Rolls-Royce built to run on electricity: two motors, 577 hp, all-wheel drive and about four and a half seconds to 60, with no sound at all. This one is chartreuse — a deep olive-gold — over a black cabin piped in yellow, photographed on a Beverly Hills street.

Rolls-Royce Spectre coupe in profile, olive-gold paint and polished wheels
01Full length in profile: the fastback roof, the long coach door and the polished wheels.

It is very long and very low for a Rolls-Royce: a fastback roof that runs all the way to the tail, a split headlamp face, the widest grille the company has fitted, and the Spirit of Ecstasy on the bonnet. The doors are hinged at the back and open wide, so getting in is an event.

Inside it is black leather piped in yellow, a yellow rim on the steering wheel, and light everywhere: Starlight points in the headliner and the doors, and the Spectre name glowing among more of them in the fascia in front of the passenger. Four seats, and the rear two are real ones.

On the road it is silent. No V12 to settle, no gearbox to shift — the car simply goes, with the same weight and calm as any Rolls-Royce. It arrives charged, and a day around Los Angeles never comes near the end of it.

Book it by the day: the deposit is held on the card rather than charged, and the car arrives hand-detailed at your hotel, your home or the venue. For a few hours — a wedding, an anniversary — call +1 (424) 303-6496 and we arrange it.

Silent at any speed.

Queries

Where can I rent a Rolls-Royce Spectre in Los Angeles?
Nizo Luxury rents the Rolls-Royce Spectre in Los Angeles — +1 (424) 303-6496. It is $2,500 a day; we bring it to your hotel or your home, or you collect it at no charge from our office on Robertson Boulevard.
How much does it cost to rent a Rolls-Royce Spectre in Los Angeles?
The Spectre is $2,500 a day. The day rate is the whole of it on this car — there is no weekly or monthly block, so a longer booking is priced day by day. Delivery to our Beverly Hills partner hotels is complimentary.
Do I need to charge it?
It arrives charged, and a day around Los Angeles will not come near the end of it. For a longer trip out of the city, tell us the plan and we will talk you through charging on the way.
How many people does it seat?
Four — two in front and two in the back, reached through the long rear-hinged doors.
Can I book it for a wedding?
Yes. Tell us the date and the venue and it arrives hand-detailed before the ceremony. For a few hours rather than a day, call +1 (424) 303-6496 and we arrange it.
Can I see the dates before I call?
Yes — the diary on this page is the live fleet calendar. If a date is open there, it is open.

The terms, before you commit

Refundable deposit
$5,000
A hold, not a charge, and released 5–7 business days after a clean return, longer only if there is damage to price.
Protection plan
$225 a day
Priced off the deposit rather than the rate. Your own qualifying full-coverage policy takes this line out of the quote entirely.
Driver, 21–24
$175 a day
Twenty-one is the floor, with a licence held two years. The higher band applies at or above a $1,500 deposit; this car is in it.
Shortest booking
24 hours
No maximum. Delivery is complimentary at our Robertson Boulevard lot and our four Beverly Hills partner hotels; LAX is $150 both ways with the car in the airport parking structure or $300 both ways to the terminal, half that for one direction.

This one is the same rate at every length — it carries no multi-day block, so three days is three times one day.

Renting the Rolls-Royce Spectre: the short answers

Can I book the Rolls-Royce Spectre with a driver?
Yes. A chauffeur is from $100 an hour on a two-hour minimum, added to the car at its day rate — $2,900 for a four-hour evening in this car. No security deposit is taken on a chauffeured booking. The same car can be driven to the event and yours with the keys the morning after; the chauffeur service page has the runs and the hours.
What do I need to rent the Rolls-Royce Spectre, and can international guests book?
A driver of 21 or over with a licence held at least two years — between 21 and 24 a young-driver fee of $175 a day applies on this car, and under 21 is considered case by case. A major credit card in the primary renter's name for the refundable hold, and cover for the car: your own full-coverage policy if it extends to a rental, or our Protection plan arranged with the booking. International guests rent on a passport and a home-country licence; no International Driving Permit is needed. The hold is released 5–7 business days after a clean return, longer only if there is damage to price. If the age floor or the cover is the thing in the way, the same car goes out with a driver instead — that booking asks neither of you.
How far ahead should I book the Rolls-Royce Spectre, and can I change the dates?
There is no notice period: the calendar on this page shows the days it is free, and once a booking is paid a car that is free can be on its way to you in about an hour — same day included. Moving the dates is free, as often as you need, outside the last day before the start; a change inside it keeps one day's rate. What comes back if you cancel is set out in our terms and conditions.
Can the Rolls-Royce Spectre be delivered to my hotel, my home or LAX?
Yes. Delivery is complimentary to the Beverly Wilshire, the Four Seasons at Doheny, L’Ermitage and the Maybourne, and collection from our Robertson Boulevard office costs nothing. LAX is $150 both ways with the car in the airport parking structure or $300 both ways to the terminal, half that for one direction. Any other address is priced by distance from the office, $75 one way inside 10 miles, and itemised on the quote before you pay.
How many miles are included, and can I take the Rolls-Royce Spectre out of California?
Every car carries its own daily mileage allowance, and yours arrives in writing with the booking confirmation, together with the per-mile rate for anything over it. The car may leave the state — Las Vegas, Arizona, up the coast — as long as you tell us the plan in advance and keep the allowance in mind; it comes home to Los Angeles, since there is no one-way drop in another city.
What does a weekend in the Rolls-Royce Spectre cost, and can I rent it by the hour?
$5,000 for two days and $7,500 for three, before the Protection plan, tax and any delivery — there is no separate weekend rate, and one day is the minimum on a Saturday too. The day is the shortest self-drive booking; by the hour, the car goes out with a driver, from $100 an hour on a two-hour minimum.
