01Five and a half metres of it, and almost none of the length spent on drama. From the side it is a saloon that has been told to stand up.

The rear doors are hinged at the back, which sounds like a detail until you use one. You step out facing the pavement instead of swinging a leg around a door edge, and the door closes itself at the touch of a button. Rolls-Royce calls them coach doors. Everybody else calls them suicide doors, which is exactly why Rolls-Royce calls them coach doors.

Inside is the part people photograph. Mandarin orange over black, across the seats, the door cards and the top of the dash, with veneer running behind the rear bench. It is a specification chosen by somebody who was not being careful with money, and it is the reason this one gets booked over the black car.

How much does it cost to rent a Rolls-Royce Cullinan in Los Angeles?
The white Cullinan is $2,500 a day. The day rate is the whole of it on this car — there is no weekly or monthly block, so a longer booking is priced day by day. Delivery to our Beverly Hills partner hotels is complimentary.
What are coach doors?
Rear doors hinged at the back rather than the front, so they open away from the front of the car. You step out facing the pavement, and a button on the door pillar closes them for you. Rolls-Royce is the only maker still building them on a new car.
Is it different from the black Cullinan?
Same car, different specification. The black one is black over black. This one is white over mandarin orange, which is the one people book when the car is going to be photographed.
How far ahead should I book it?
It is one of the most-booked cars in the fleet through the summer. Name the date early and it is held for you.

This one is the same rate at every length — it carries no multi-day block, so three days is three times one day. We would rather say that than imply a discount that is not there.
