Black Range Rover Velar from a front three-quarter

Nothing Sticks Out

Black Land Rover Range Rover Velar

Flush handles, hidden seams and a surface Land Rover spent the whole budget keeping unbroken.

The Velar was designed by deleting things, and it is the only Range Rover you notice for what is missing.

The Velar is the Range Rover that justifies itself on surface alone — door handles that retract into the flank, a single unbroken line from headlight to tail, and glass that meets metal without a rubber seal in sight. Five seats underneath all of it.

Black Range Rover Velar from the rear three-quarter
01From behind, two narrow lamps and a tailgate with no visible join. Land Rover hid the seams and charged for it.

Every detail here is a subtraction. The handles sit flush until you touch them, the roof rails are cut into the roof rather than bolted onto it, and the light clusters are so narrow they read as a line rather than a lamp. Parked, it is the tidiest object on the street.

Inside the same logic continues: two screens replace almost every switch, and the ones that survive are milled metal dials that do two jobs each. It is a car built by people who found buttons embarrassing.

Queries

Where can I rent a Land Rover Range Rover Velar in Los Angeles?
Nizo Luxury rents the Land Rover Range Rover Velar in Los Angeles — +1 (424) 303-6496. It is $199 a day; we bring it to your hotel or your home, or you collect it at no charge from our office on Robertson Boulevard.
Is the Range Rover Velar for rent by the day?
Yes. The Velar is the Range Rover for people who want the badge without the size of the full-fat car — it fits a Beverly Hills parking structure, which the long-wheelbase one does not always do gracefully.
How much does it cost to rent a Range Rover Velar in Los Angeles?
The black Velar is $199 a day. A shorter booking is priced day by day; the saving on this car arrives at the twenty-one-day block, which the quote applies for you. Delivery to our Beverly Hills partner hotels is complimentary.
How is it different from the Sport?
Lower, sleeker and more about surface than presence. The Sport is the one that fills a doorway; the Velar is the one people ask about because they cannot place it.
Do you have the big Range Rover Autobiography, or only the Velar?
Only the Velar and the Sport, and it is worth saying plainly rather than hedging: the full-size Range Rover — the one people mean when they say Autobiography — is not in this fleet at all. Two Range Rovers here, and the name covers three cars in the world. If the brief is the long-wheelbase flagship with the rear cabin, we are not the answer; if it is a Range Rover you actually drive, the Velar is the cheaper of the two by a wide margin and the Sport is the one that reads as the badge across a car park.
Does keeping it longer bring the price down?
A shorter booking is priced day by day; the saving on this car arrives at the twenty-one-day block, which the quote applies for you. Worth knowing which lengths those are: the block here is five days rather than seven, so a weekend is two days at the day rate — on this car and on every other in the fleet.
Can I see the dates before I call?
Yes — the diary on this page is the live fleet calendar. If a date is open there, it is open.

Renting the Land Rover Range Rover Velar: the short answers

Can I book the Land Rover Range Rover Velar with a driver?
Yes. A chauffeur is from $100 an hour on a two-hour minimum, added to the car at its day rate — $599 for a four-hour evening in this car. No security deposit is taken on a chauffeured booking. The same car can be driven to the event and yours with the keys the morning after; the chauffeur service page has the runs and the hours.
What do I need to rent the Land Rover Range Rover Velar, and can international guests book?
A driver of 21 or over with a licence held at least two years — between 21 and 24 a young-driver fee of $50 a day applies on this car, and under 21 is considered case by case. A major credit card in the primary renter's name for the refundable hold, and cover for the car: your own full-coverage policy if it extends to a rental, or our Protection plan arranged with the booking. International guests rent on a passport and a home-country licence; no International Driving Permit is needed. The hold is released 5–7 business days after a clean return, longer only if there is damage to price. If the age floor or the cover is the thing in the way, the same car goes out with a driver instead — that booking asks neither of you.
How far ahead should I book the Land Rover Range Rover Velar, and can I change the dates?
There is no notice period: the calendar on this page shows the days it is free, and once a booking is paid a car that is free can be on its way to you in about an hour — same day included. Moving the dates is free, as often as you need, outside the last day before the start; a change inside it keeps one day's rate. What comes back if you cancel is set out in our terms and conditions.
Can the Land Rover Range Rover Velar be delivered to my hotel, my home or LAX?
Yes. Delivery is complimentary to the Beverly Wilshire, the Four Seasons at Doheny, L’Ermitage and the Maybourne, and collection from our Robertson Boulevard office costs nothing. LAX is $150 both ways with the car in the airport parking structure or $300 both ways to the terminal, half that for one direction. Any other address is priced by distance from the office, $75 one way inside 10 miles, and itemised on the quote before you pay.
How many miles are included, and can I take the Land Rover Range Rover Velar out of California?
Every car carries its own daily mileage allowance, and yours arrives in writing with the booking confirmation, together with the per-mile rate for anything over it. The car may leave the state — Las Vegas, Arizona, up the coast — as long as you tell us the plan in advance and keep the allowance in mind; it comes home to Los Angeles, since there is no one-way drop in another city.
What does a weekend in the Land Rover Range Rover Velar cost, and can I rent it by the hour?
$398 for two days and $597 for three, before the Protection plan, tax and any delivery — there is no separate weekend rate, and one day is the minimum on a Saturday too. The day is the shortest self-drive booking; by the hour, the car goes out with a driver, from $100 an hour on a two-hour minimum.
