White Porsche Macan outside a mid-century arena in Inglewood, front three-quarter view

A Sports Car You Can Park

White Porsche Macan

The compact Porsche SUV that drives like the badge says — in the one colour that lets its proportions read.

Short, wide, and eager on a canyon road. Then it tucks into a Venice parking space.

The Macan brings real Porsche handling to an SUV you can live with anywhere in Los Angeles. It is alert on Mulholland, planted on a wet PCH morning with all-wheel drive, and compact enough that street parking in Venice is not a project. Five seats, and a boot that takes weekend bags for two — good, not enormous.

White Porsche Macan from the rear three-quarter on a canyon road above Malibu
01A tight bend above Malibu — the road the Macan was booked for, and the light bar across the tail.

White is the finish that lets the Macan's proportions read properly. The car is short and wide with a fast-dropping roofline, and in a dark colour that reads as a tall hatchback; in white the shoulder line and the flared rear arches show, and it looks like the sports car it drives as. This is the facelifted car, with the four-point lamps and the black lower intakes.

What it is not is a big SUV. Four adults with a week of luggage should look at the Cayenne on the next page; two people with a canyon road in mind and a hotel with a tight garage should look here. Three Macans are in the fleet — this one, a silver and a black — and the dates on each page are the car's own.

It genuinely handles like a sports car.
And it fits the garage.

Queries

How much does it cost to rent a white Porsche Macan in Los Angeles?
The white Macan is $149 a day. The day rate is the whole of it on this car — there is no weekly or monthly block, so a longer booking is priced day by day. Delivery to our Beverly Hills partner hotels is complimentary; LAX delivery is charged each way, in two tiers, and the figures are on our delivery page.
Macan or Cayenne?
Size. The Macan is the compact one — two people, weekend bags, any parking structure in the city. The Cayenne is the full-size one — four adults, a week of luggage, and a longer nose to park. They drive alike; the Macan is the more eager of the two.
Is the boot big enough for a trip?
For two, yes: two large cases or a weekend's bags for four. It is a five-seat SUV, not a five-seat estate — the boot is good rather than enormous, and we would rather say so before you book.
How do the three Macans differ?
Paint, mostly. This is the white car and the newer face; the silver and the black are on their own pages with their own dates. Pick by colour and by the diary.
Can I see the dates before I call?
Yes — the diary on this page is the live fleet calendar. If a date is open there, it is open.

The terms, before you commit

Refundable deposit
$500
A hold, not a charge. Back with you 5–7 business days after the car is home.
Damage and liability cover
$75 a day
Mandatory, and priced off the deposit rather than the rate. Your own qualifying full-coverage policy takes this line out of the quote entirely.
Driver, 21–24
$50 a day
Twenty-one is the floor, with a licence held two years. The higher band applies above a $1,500 deposit; this car is below it.
Shortest booking
24 hours
No maximum. Delivery is complimentary at our Robertson Boulevard lot and our four Beverly Hills partner hotels; LAX is $75 to the parking structure or $150 to the terminal, each way.

This one is the same rate at every length — it carries no multi-day block, so three days is three times one day. We would rather say that than imply a discount that is not there.
