Every other car on this page is a room you sit inside. This one takes the ceiling off and dares the city to look.
The Dawn is the open Rolls-Royce — a four-seat convertible on a 6.6-litre twin-turbo V12, rear-wheel drive, with a roof that folds away in twenty-two seconds and a cabin trimmed in red. It is the least discreet way to be quiet ever built.

6.6L twin-turbo V12 · RWD
Rolls-Royce calls it the most social of its cars, which is corporate language for the only one where the people outside are part of the evening. With the roof down there is no glass between the cabin and Sunset Boulevard, and the red hide that looks discreet in photographs turns out to be visible from a block away.
Mechanically it is a Wraith that has stopped hiding. Five hundred and sixty-three horsepower, sixty in four and a half seconds, and a body stiffened enough that losing the roof costs nothing in composure. What it costs is anonymity, and that was never the point of a Dawn.
A coupé keeps the evening inside.
This one hands it to the street.
02The double-R embroidered into every headrest, and a wheel thin enough to remind you this car was drawn before anyone thought a steering wheel should be a controller.
04Milled metal switches that have outlasted three generations of touchscreen, and a profile with the longest bonnet and the shortest deck Rolls-Royce draws.

Queries
- How much does it cost to rent a Rolls-Royce Dawn in Los Angeles?
- The Dawn is $2,200 a day, with multi-day stays discounted. Delivery to our Beverly Hills partner hotels is complimentary.
- Is it a proper four-seater with the roof down?
- Yes — two full seats behind, not the token bench most convertibles call rear seats. It is the reason people book the Dawn over a two-seat exotic when the evening involves other people.
- How far ahead should I book it?
- There is one Dawn in the fleet, and open-top cars go first on the weekends worth having. Name the date early and it is held for you.
