The Four-Door Coupe
Silver Mercedes CLA 250
The compact Mercedes whose whole argument is its roofline — in the silver that gives that line a highlight to travel along.
A scaled-down CLS at a compact-saloon rate, and it looks it from every angle.
The CLA is Mercedes' compact four-door, and its whole argument is the roofline: it drops from the windscreen in one continuous curve to the boot lid, which is why it reads as a small CLS rather than as an entry-level saloon. On the road that shape costs a little rear headroom and buys a car that is genuinely good-looking from every angle.

It is easy to live with in Los Angeles. Compact enough for street parking in Venice, quiet on the freeway, and economical enough that a week of driving costs very little. The cabin is where the money went — the turbine air vents, the wide twin screens and the ambient lighting are lifted straight from cars three times the price.
Silver is the finish that lets the CLA's one big idea show. Only a bright metallic gives that curve a highlight to run along; on a dark CLA the shape flattens and you lose the reason to pick it over any other compact saloon. The honest limit: the back seat is tight for adults on a long drive and the boot opening is small. Two people and their luggage, comfortably; four adults across town, at a push.
Two people and their luggage.
Comfortably.
02The diamond grille with the star at its centre, and the wheel under the curve of the roof. The two things that make it a Mercedes rather than a compact.

The terms, before you commit
- Refundable deposit
- $500
- A hold, not a charge. Back with you 5–7 business days after the car is home.
- Damage and liability cover
- $75 a day
- Mandatory, and priced off the deposit rather than the rate. Your own qualifying full-coverage policy takes this line out of the quote entirely.
- Driver, 21–24
- $50 a day
- Twenty-one is the floor, with a licence held two years. The higher band applies above a $1,500 deposit; this car is below it.
- Shortest booking
- 24 hours
- No maximum. Delivery is complimentary at our Robertson Boulevard lot and our four Beverly Hills partner hotels; LAX is $75 to the parking structure or $150 to the terminal, each way.
This one is the same rate at every length — it carries no multi-day block, so three days is three times one day. We would rather say that than imply a discount that is not there.
