The Odyssey is the honest answer to eight people and their luggage: doors that slide instead of swing, a floor with no transmission tunnel in it, and a third row that folds into the floor when the boot matters more. Nothing about it is aspirational and everything about it works.

Sliding doors are the part people underestimate until a car park is tight and there are children involved. They open fully in the space of the door itself, which no hinged door can do, and the flat floor between the rows means anybody can move from front to back without going outside.
