Los Angeles · Above the counter, below the supercars

Everyday Luxury Car Rental in Los Angeles

The tier most people actually want and almost nobody has a page for: better than what an airport counter hands you, and nothing you have to explain to anyone. 43 cars from $102 a day, delivered to you rather than queued for.

  • 43 cars, $102 to $449 a day
  • Deposits $350–$750, not four figures
  • No counter, no shuttle, no queue
  • One car in one colour — reserved by name

What this shelf is, stated flatly

Above the corporate counter and below the exotics. That is the whole positioning, and it is a real tier rather than a discount on the one above it: 43 cars from $102 to $449 a day, on refundable deposits of $350 to $750 instead of the $1,500 and $2,000 the supercars carry. Nobody at this level is trying to be looked at.

The difference you feel first is not the car. It is that there is no counter, no shuttle bus and no queue: the car is brought to your hotel, your office or your door at the hour you name and collected from the same address at the end. Collection at our showroom on 2022 S Robertson Blvd is free, and so is delivery to our three partner hotels in Beverly Hills. LAX is $75 to the airport parking structure or $150 to the terminal, each way. Anywhere else is quoted with the car, before anything is committed.

What a few days actually costs

Read the five-day column rather than the daily one if you are keeping the car for a working week. Every figure here is what the quote charges, not a rate card: the block on this fleet is five days rather than seven, and it is only used when it beats five days at the daily rate.

* No five-day block on these. The Chevrolet Trailblazer, the Honda Odyssey, the Kia Carnival, the BMW 7, the BMW X5, the Jeep Wrangler, the Ford Mustang, the Porsche Macan carry a five-day price that is higher than five days at the daily rate, so the quote does not use it and five days is simply five days. We would rather print the asterisk than a saving that never arrives on the card.

Why one of each, and what it costs you

Every car here is a single car in a single colour. That is why a booking is of that car rather than of its category — no "or similar", and the thing that turns up is the thing in the photographs. The honest other half is that a popular colour on a Saturday in season goes, and there is no second one behind it. Give the dates early and the choice is wide; give them on the Friday and the shelf decides for you.

Everyday Luxury Rental Questions

What is a good company in Los Angeles for renting a nice car that is not exotic?

This shelf is the answer to that question rather than a compromise on the way to something else: 43 cars from $102 to $449 a day, above what an airport counter hands you and below the supercars. Nothing is picked from a category on the day — each car is one car in one colour, reserved by name, so what arrives is what you chose.

Does the daily rate come down if I keep the car for a week?

On most of them, and not on all of them, and the quote is honest about which. The block on this fleet is five days rather than seven, and it is only applied when it beats five days at the daily rate — on the Chevrolet Trailblazer, the Honda Odyssey, the Kia Carnival, the BMW 7, the BMW X5, the Jeep Wrangler, the Ford Mustang, the Porsche Macan it does not, so five days is simply five days. Seven days is the five-day block plus two days wherever the block wins. You never have to work that out: the quote takes whichever combination costs least across your dates.

How much is the deposit on a car at this level?

Between $350 and $750, refundable, held against a credit card in the renter's name and returned 5–7 business days after the car is home. The exotics sit at $1,500 and $2,000, which is the other practical difference between the two shelves and the one people notice at the point of booking rather than on the rate card.

Do I have to collect it from an airport?

No, and there is no counter to queue at either. Collection is free at our showroom on 2022 S Robertson Blvd and delivery is free to our three partner hotels in Beverly Hills — the Beverly Wilshire, the Four Seasons at Doheny and L'Ermitage. LAX is $75 to the airport parking structure or $150 to the terminal, each way. Any other address is quoted with the car, before anything is committed.
