Grey Lamborghini Urus from a front three-quarter on a palm-lined Beverly Hills street

Shape First

Grey Lamborghini Urus

A 641 hp Urus in grey over black wheels — the colour that lets the creases do the talking.

Take the loud paint away and what is left is still the most aggressive shape on the road.

This is the Urus as Lamborghini launched it: a 641 hp twin-turbo V8, all-wheel drive, five seats and a real boot, 190 mph at the top. In grey over black wheels it is the understated one — the shape does all the work.

Grey Lamborghini Urus from the rear three-quarter outside a hillside villa
01From behind, the Y-shaped lamps and the four exhausts. In grey the light bar across the tail is the only bright thing on it.

Without a bright colour pulling the eye, the Urus becomes a study in edges: the crease that runs down the bonnet, the angular intakes, the hexagon cut behind each front wheel and the shoulders that sit wider than the cabin. In Los Angeles light a mid grey shows every one of them.

It drives the way a Urus should. In traffic the V8 settles into a low murmur and the ride is a big comfortable SUV; on the freeway 60 mph comes up in about three and a half seconds. Four adults and their bags fit without negotiation.

Take the loud paint away.
The shape is still shouting.

Renting the Lamborghini Urus: the short answers

Can I book the Lamborghini Urus with a driver?
Yes. A chauffeur is from $100 an hour on a two-hour minimum, added to the car at its day rate — $1,399 for a four-hour evening in this car. No security deposit is taken on a chauffeured booking. The same car can be driven to the event and yours with the keys the morning after; the chauffeur service page has the runs and the hours.
What do I need to rent the Lamborghini Urus, and can international guests book?
A driver of 21 or over with a licence held at least two years — between 21 and 24 a young-driver fee of $175 a day applies on this car, and under 21 is considered case by case. A major credit card in the primary renter's name for the refundable hold, and cover for the car: your own full-coverage policy if it extends to a rental, or our Protection plan arranged with the booking. International guests rent on a passport and a home-country licence; no International Driving Permit is needed. The hold is released 5–7 business days after a clean return, longer only if there is damage to price. If the age floor or the cover is the thing in the way, the same car goes out with a driver instead — that booking asks neither of you.
How far ahead should I book the Lamborghini Urus, and can I change the dates?
There is no notice period: the calendar on this page shows the days it is free, and once a booking is paid a car that is free can be on its way to you in about an hour — same day included. Moving the dates is free, as often as you need, outside the last day before the start; a change inside it keeps one day's rate. What comes back if you cancel is set out in our terms and conditions.
Can the Lamborghini Urus be delivered to my hotel, my home or LAX?
Yes. Delivery is complimentary to the Beverly Wilshire, the Four Seasons at Doheny, L’Ermitage and the Maybourne, and collection from our Robertson Boulevard office costs nothing. LAX is $150 both ways with the car in the airport parking structure or $300 both ways to the terminal, half that for one direction. Any other address is priced by distance from the office, $75 one way inside 10 miles, and itemised on the quote before you pay.
How many miles are included, and can I take the Lamborghini Urus out of California?
Every car carries its own daily mileage allowance, and yours arrives in writing with the booking confirmation, together with the per-mile rate for anything over it. The car may leave the state — Las Vegas, Arizona, up the coast — as long as you tell us the plan in advance and keep the allowance in mind; it comes home to Los Angeles, since there is no one-way drop in another city.
What does a weekend in the Lamborghini Urus cost, and can I rent it by the hour?
$1,998 for two days and $2,997 for three, before the Protection plan, tax and any delivery — there is no separate weekend rate, and one day is the minimum on a Saturday too. For a few hours, call +1 (424) 303-6496 and we arrange it; with a driver it is from $100 an hour on a two-hour minimum.
