The Lamborghini Rental Bill, Explained: What the Deposit, the Cover and the Week Actually Mean
A Lamborghini bill here has five lines: the car, a refundable deposit that is a hold on your card rather than a charge, the Protection plan priced off that deposit, Los Angeles County tax on the whole booking, and delivery, which is free at Robertson and the partner Beverly Hills hotels; LAX is priced by the trip, in two tiers. There are two rates, not a range, because a five-seat Urus and a two-seat Huracán are different objects.

Two rates, not a range, and four lines around them
Search the question and you get a range — a thousand to twenty-five hundred, prices vary, request a quote. There are two Lamborghini rates on Robertson Boulevard, not a range, and the day rate is one of five lines on the bill.
We rent the Urus and the Huracán. The range answers are useless because they average two completely different vehicles — a five-seat SUV with a boot and a two-seat mid-engined supercar — and produce a figure that describes neither. Then the deposit, the cover and the airport arrive and the number moves again. Two things surprise people about the rates themselves. Colour does not change the price on either model, so the yellow one does not cost more because it photographs better. And the gap between the two rates buys a completely different object rather than more of the same one: if the badge is the point, the Urus is the cheapest way to it and it carries five people with luggage; if the drive is the point, nothing about an SUV replaces a V10 behind your shoulders. The deposit is a hold, not a charge
A Urus takes $1,500 and a Huracán $2,000, placed as an authorisation on the primary driver’s credit card at handover rather than taken as a payment. It is not money that leaves your account; it is money your bank stops you spending until we release it, which we do after the car comes back, and which lands 5–7 business days later depending on your issuer rather than on us.
Two things to check before booking. The hold sits on top of the rental charge, so make sure the card’s limit carries both: a three-day Huracán and a $2,000 authorisation together want more than a $5,000 limit. And the deposit sets two other lines on this page: the cover band is chosen by it, and so is the young-driver fee. A car’s deposit tells you the whole of its terms.
Cover is required: the Protection plan or your own policy
Every rental needs collision and comprehensive cover for the car’s replacement value. What you choose is whose policy provides it, not whether to have it. Bring a qualifying policy of your own and you bring it; otherwise we price it, and it is in the quote before you pay rather than sold to you with the keys in someone’s hand.
Cover is priced by deposit band, and every Lamborghini here sits in the top one. On a two-day Urus the cover line is roughly a quarter of the car itself, and it is in the quote from the start; a qualifying policy of your own replaces it. Before you assume your credit card handles it, check: several major issuers exclude exotic and high-value vehicles from their rental benefit by name, and a Lamborghini is inside every definition of the term. Three weeks on the Urus is where length pays
The quote holds up to three prices for each car — a day, a five-day block and a twenty-one-day block — and charges whichever combination covers your dates most cheaply. On the Lamborghinis the saving arrives at three weeks.
A Urus week bills by the day, and the Huracán prices by the day at any length.
The one place length genuinely moves the number is three weeks, and only on the Urus: a twenty-one-day block at $16,999 against $20,979 for the same days charged singly, which is $3,980 of real difference. Ask by car and by date, because the block is not printed against every Urus in the fleet and the quote is what decides. Where the price breaks on the rest of the fleet is a different shape.
A real weekend, added up
Friday to Sunday in a Urus, delivered to a partner hotel in Beverly Hills, driver over twenty-five, cover taken from us. Two rental days. The car is $1,998. Cover adds $450 for the two days, or nothing if you bring a qualifying policy of your own. Delivery is nothing, because a partner hotel is the same figure as Robertson. Tax at 10.25% on the $2,448 subtotal is $250.92. Paid: $2,698.92, with a $1,500 authorisation held on the card and released after the return.
A single day in a Huracán, which is the most common booking we take, is the day rate plus $225 of cover plus tax, $2,221.34 with nothing else added. Add the young-driver line if the driver is under twenty-five; add the airport if the car is meeting a flight. Nothing else appears later.
Fuel is the one line you pay somewhere else: the EPA rates the Lamborghini Urus at 14 mpg combined, 12 in the city, and the Huracán at 15, both on premium and nothing else. A weekend of canyon roads and Sunset traffic is about two fills. Every Lamborghini here carries a daily mileage allowance named in the agreement before you sign; if the plan has distance in it, say so when you enquire.
Two things worth knowing
Bring a credit card in the driver’s own name. It carries the deposit; a debit card or somebody else’s card will not, so bring the right one to the handover.
The numbers you found elsewhere are lower for one of three reasons. The figure is another city — Miami and Las Vegas price Lamborghinis differently. Or the mileage cap is tight enough that Palm Springs and back costs more in excess miles than a day of the rental. Or, most often, the advertised number is the car alone, with cover, deposit handling and delivery arriving afterwards. Send your dates rather than a number of days and compare the totals.
What it costs, and how it reaches you

Collection from our lot on Robertson Boulevard is free and delivery to the partner hotels in Beverly Hills is complimentary; any other address is quoted. Airport delivery is $150 both ways standard, where the car waits in the airport parking structure and you take the shuttle out to it, or $300 both ways VIP, where it is at the terminal when you walk out — half that for one direction.
Each leg is chosen and priced on its own at half the both-ways figure, so a standard round trip is $150, terminal both ways is $300, and terminal in with the parking structure out — the common case — is $225. The shuttle is half an hour with luggage, which is fine in a Urus and a poor idea in a Huracán with one soft bag; the LAX guide has the rest. Approval is a separate question from the fee and it depends on the car — the bar is higher on the two-seat exotics than on the Urus.
