What is the difference between the Urus and the Urus SE?
The SE is the newest Urus: the same twin-turbo V8 with an electric motor in the gearbox, 789 hp together against the Urus's 641, sixty in about 3.4 seconds, and up to around 35 miles on electricity alone — silent out of a hotel drive at night. It wears the new face and a new rear. $1,199 a day against $999; same deposit, same Protection plan band.
Can a Lamborghini Urus go 200 mph?
No — close. The Urus tops out at 190 mph and the Urus SE at 194 mph, with sixty in about 3.5 seconds (3.4 in the SE). Every version is explained in every Urus, explained.
Is the Urus basically an Audi?
It shares the Volkswagen Group platform and V8 family with the Audi RS Q8, and Lamborghini answers to Audi — but the tune, the chassis, the body, the cabin and the build at Sant'Agata Bolognese are Lamborghini's own. The full comparison is in Urus vs Audi RS Q8.
Can you daily drive a Urus, and is it hard to drive?
Yes, and no. The Urus is the Lamborghini built to be used every day: five seats, all-wheel drive, a real trunk and an automatic gearbox, with the Strada mode as calm as any large luxury SUV. It is wide, so the only thing to learn is the parking; the tamburo puts Sport and Corsa a pull away when you want them.
Can I rent a Lamborghini Urus at LAX?
Yes. It can meet you at LAX — $150 both ways with the car waiting in the airport parking structure, or $300 both ways to the terminal curb — and it takes the luggage that a two-seat Lamborghini cannot.
Can I rent a Urus for a wedding or prom?
Yes. For a wedding the Urus carries the couple, the dress and two more; see wedding car rental. For prom the driver must be 21 or over, so the usual answer is the Urus with a chauffeur — see prom car rental.
Can I rent a Urus instead of leasing one?
For anything up to a few months, renting is the simpler answer: no down payment, no term, cover and maintenance handled. For a month or more see monthly car rental; the full arithmetic is in rent, lease or buy a Lamborghini.
Which Urus colour should I choose?
Choose by the day you are having. Green photographs best against the city and the canyons; yellow is the loudest Urus there is, made for a birthday or a shoot; black is for the evening, and the arrival that should not shout; the matte grey SE is the newest Urus and the most powerful; orange is the colour Lamborghini is known for, inside as well as out; grey shows every line of the shape and still looks clean at the end of the day. Each car has its own page with its own live calendar.
Urus or Huracán — which one should I book?
Ask what happens after the photograph. The Urus carries the people, the luggage and a whole weekend with a hotel and a dinner in it; the Huracán takes two people and a soft bag, and it owns seven on a Sunday morning with the canyon empty. The Urus is also the cheaper way into the badge, at $999 a day, and it seats five. If the roof coming down is the point, that is a Huracán Spyder — the Evo Spyder or the Spyder.
How much does it cost to rent a Lamborghini Urus in Los Angeles?
Renting a Lamborghini Urus in Los Angeles costs between $999 and $1,199 a day, depending on the model. That is the rate for the car itself; a refundable deposit is held separately for the length of the rental, and the Protection plan is arranged with the booking unless your own full-coverage policy extends to the car. The daily rate is not fixed for the length of the stay: the quote takes whichever combination of day, week and month blocks costs least across your dates, so a longer booking prices itself down without you having to ask for it. There is no week block that wins here; the first is the month, from the twenty-first day.
What do the deposit and the Protection plan come to on a Urus?
The refundable hold is $1,500, taken at pickup and released 5–7 business days after a clean return, longer only if there is damage to price. The Protection plan is $225 a day, priced off the deposit band rather than the rate, and it comes out of the quote when your own full-coverage policy extends to the car. Los Angeles County sales tax is added to the rental, and all three are in the quote before you pay. Delivery is complimentary to our Beverly Hills partner hotels and priced by distance anywhere else.
What is not included in the daily rate?
A refundable security deposit, held against your card and released 5–7 business days after a clean return, longer only if there is damage to price; the Protection plan, arranged alongside the booking unless your own full-coverage policy extends to the car; Los Angeles County sales tax; and delivery outside our partner Beverly Hills hotels, where it is complimentary. Every car goes out with a full tank of 91-octane premium and comes back full; returned short, the charge is what the fuel actually costs at the nearest premium station plus a $20 service charge for the trip. The mileage allowance is set per car and stated with the confirmation.
How much is a Lamborghini Urus for a weekend in Los Angeles?
$1,998 for two days, $2,997 for three, at the $999 rate of the cheapest in this group — a weekend sits below the twenty-one-day block, so it is the daily rate for each day, with no weekend surcharge. The refundable deposit is held separately for the length of the rental and cover is arranged with the booking. Friday to Monday is three days, so a car collected on Friday afternoon gives you the whole weekend.
Is it cheaper to rent for a week?
Not at a week. On the Lamborghini Urus a week is seven days at the daily rate; the saving arrives at the twenty-one-day block, which bills as 17 days of the daily rate, and the quote applies it for you from the twenty-first day. The others carry no block and price day by day at any length.
Can I book the Lamborghini Urus with a driver?
Yes. A chauffeur is from $100 an hour on a two-hour minimum, added to the car at its day rate — $1,399 for a four-hour evening in this car. No security deposit is taken on a chauffeured booking. The same car can be driven to the event and yours with the keys the morning after; the chauffeur service page has the runs and the hours.
What do I need to rent the Lamborghini Urus, and can international guests book?
A driver of 21 or over with a licence held at least two years — between 21 and 24 a young-driver fee of $175 a day applies on this car, and under 21 is considered case by case. A major credit card in the primary renter's name for the refundable hold, and cover for the car: your own full-coverage policy if it extends to a rental, or our Protection plan arranged with the booking. International guests rent on a passport and a home-country licence; no International Driving Permit is needed. The hold is released 5–7 business days after a clean return, longer only if there is damage to price. If the age floor or the cover is the thing in the way, the same car goes out with a driver instead — that booking asks neither of you.
How far ahead should I book the Lamborghini Urus, and can I change the dates?
There is no notice period: the calendar on this page shows the days it is free, and once a booking is paid a car that is free can be on its way to you in about an hour — same day included. Moving the dates is free, as often as you need, outside the last day before the start; a change inside it keeps one day's rate. What comes back if you cancel is set out in our terms and conditions.
Can the Lamborghini Urus be delivered to my hotel, my home or LAX?
Yes. Delivery is complimentary to the Beverly Wilshire, the Four Seasons at Doheny, L’Ermitage and the Maybourne, and collection from our Robertson Boulevard office costs nothing. LAX is $150 both ways with the car in the airport parking structure or $300 both ways to the terminal, half that for one direction. Any other address is priced by distance from the office, $75 one way inside 10 miles, and itemised on the quote before you pay.
How many miles are included, and can I take the Lamborghini Urus out of California?
Every car carries its own daily mileage allowance, and yours arrives in writing with the booking confirmation, together with the per-mile rate for anything over it. The car may leave the state — Las Vegas, Arizona, up the coast — as long as you tell us the plan in advance and keep the allowance in mind; it comes home to Los Angeles, since there is no one-way drop in another city.
