I rented a car for 35 days and was extremely happy with its performance, smooth, reliable, and fuel-efficient. It made getting around so easy and stress-free. What I reserved in the photo was exactly what I got to drive, no surprises, just honest and reliable service. The car was clean, well-maintained, and ready to go.

Questions

Monthly and long-term car rental questions

Who offers monthly car rental in Los Angeles?

Nizo Luxury — +1 (424) 303-6496 — rents cars by the month from $1,450 for 30 days, about $48 a day, with the Protection plan included: SUVs, convertibles and minivans, each delivered to your home, office or hotel. The office is at 2022 S Robertson Blvd, Los Angeles, open daily 8am–7pm PT, and the company is rated 5.0 from 67 Google reviews. Every car and price is in the monthly price table on this page.

My car is in the body shop for six weeks. Is renting a car long-term in LA cheaper than it sounds?

Yes. Six weeks in the yellow Maserati Grecale is $4,900 on the monthly offer, against $12,600 booked day by day — 61% less. The first 30 days are one price, $3,500, and every day after that costs the same thirtieth, $117. The car is delivered to your house the day yours goes in and collected the day it comes back, and the itemised invoice for the whole period is what an insurer's rental-reimbursement claim asks for. Nizo Luxury, +1 (424) 303-6496.

How much is a monthly car rental in Los Angeles?

From $1,450 to $3,500 for 30 days, by car: $1,450 for the Chevrolet Trailblazer and Volkswagen Tiguan; $1,800 for the Audi A5, Ford Explorer, Infiniti QX50, Nissan Pathfinder, Volkswagen Atlas and Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport; $2,000 for the BMW X1, Chevrolet Traverse and Mercedes GLB; $2,100 for the Honda Odyssey and Kia Carnival; $2,300 for the Maserati Grecale; $2,500 for the BMW 430i, BMW X5 and Lexus TX; $3,000 for the Ford Bronco, Ford Mustang and Jeep Wrangler; $3,500 for the Maserati Grecale. That is the car with the Protection plan included, and it already carries the discount, so promo codes do not apply; sales tax at 10.25% and any delivery are lines on the same quote, shown before you pay.

Is it cheaper to rent a car by the month than by the day in Los Angeles?

Yes, by 33–67% here. On every car of the monthly offer, 30 days at the monthly price costs 33% to 67% less than the same 30 days booked one by one: the white Chevrolet Trailblazer is $1,450 against $3,060. And that is before the cover: the monthly price includes the Protection plan, which by the day would add $1,500 a month on that car. The discount is the price itself — nothing to ask for, no code — and the booking form applies it from day 30. Nizo Luxury, +1 (424) 303-6496.

Which SUVs can I rent for a month in Los Angeles, and how much?

From $1,450 for 30 days, about $48 a day: $1,450 for the Chevrolet Trailblazer and Volkswagen Tiguan; $1,800 for the Ford Explorer, Infiniti QX50, Nissan Pathfinder, Volkswagen Atlas and Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport; $2,000 for the BMW X1, Chevrolet Traverse and Mercedes GLB; $2,300 for the Maserati Grecale; $2,500 for the BMW X5 and Lexus TX; $3,000 for the Ford Bronco and Jeep Wrangler; $3,500 for the Maserati Grecale. Each is the car in its photo, delivered to your door, and the whole list with day rates and savings is in the price table.

Can I rent a minivan for a month in LA?

Yes — $2,100 for the Honda Odyssey and Kia Carnival, 30 days at one price, about $70 a day, against $3,420 booked day by day. Families take one for the month the relatives visit or the school-run weeks while their own car is away; it is delivered to the house and collected from it.

Can I rent a convertible for a month in Los Angeles?

Yes — $1,800 for the Audi A5; $2,500 for the BMW 430i; $3,000 for the Ford Mustang, each 30 days at one price, from $60 a day. A month is long enough to have the roof down on the coast road more than once, and the car is delivered to your home, hotel or Airbnb.

When does the monthly price start, and what if I keep the car longer?

At 30 days. A shorter booking is priced by the day; from day 30 the car is on its monthly price, and every day past the first month costs a thirtieth of it — 42 days in the Chevrolet Trailblazer is $2,030, ninety days $4,350. Keeping it longer is a message to us, not a new booking.

How much is a three-month or six-month car rental in Los Angeles?

Three months (90 days) from $4,350, six months from $8,700 — the monthly price three or six times, because every day past the first 30 costs a thirtieth of it. Three months by car: $4,350 for the Chevrolet Trailblazer and Volkswagen Tiguan; $5,400 for the Audi A5, Ford Explorer, Infiniti QX50, Nissan Pathfinder, Volkswagen Atlas and Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport; $6,000 for the BMW X1, Chevrolet Traverse and Mercedes GLB; $6,300 for the Honda Odyssey and Kia Carnival; $6,900 for the Maserati Grecale; $7,500 for the BMW 430i, BMW X5 and Lexus TX; $9,000 for the Ford Bronco, Ford Mustang and Jeep Wrangler; $10,500 for the Maserati Grecale. It is one booking on one invoice for the whole stay, and it runs longer by message.

Can I switch cars during the month?

Yes. Tell us, and the second car is delivered when the first is collected, at its own rate from the day it arrives, on the same booking and the same invoice. People do it when the brief changes — the seven-seat SUV for the fortnight the family visits, the saloon back for the meetings — and if the car itself is due for service during a long booking, the swap is ours to arrange rather than yours.

Long term luxury car rental in Los Angeles for an employee relocating for six months, and the company pays — is that a thing?

Yes — it is exactly the booking this page is written for. The company is invoiced and pays before the car is collected; the employee is the named driver — a passport and home licence for a visitor, a state licence for a resident — minimum age 21, and the commuting mileage is written into the booking. The car is delivered to the apartment or the office — the yellow Maserati Grecale is $3,500 for thirty days and $21,000 across six — and six months is written as one booking on one invoice rather than six separate rentals. The Protection plan is included in the monthly price, so there is no cover to arrange. If the brief changes halfway, the car can change with it.

I'm in LA for a two-month project — is a monthly luxury rental better value than a lease, and who offers one?

For two months, the rental. A lease for one, three or six months barely exists — a "short-term lease" is a monthly rental by another name — because a lease is written for years rather than for a project: cheaper per month across those years, and expensive to leave early. A monthly rental has no commitment beyond the month, no registration or insurance to set up in your own name, and nothing to sell or hand back when the project ends. The yellow Maserati Grecale is $3,500 for thirty days, $117 a day, with the Protection plan included and sales tax as its own line on the same quote. Who offers one: we do, on every car on this page, delivered on the first day and collected on the last.

Car subscription or monthly rental in Los Angeles — which is better?

For a month or a few, the monthly rental. A subscription is a membership: a sign-up, a monthly fee and a car from a category. A monthly rental here is the car in the photo at one price for 30 days, from $1,450, with no membership and no sign-up fee; it runs on by the day at a thirtieth of the price, and the car can be swapped on the same booking. Nizo Luxury, +1 (424) 303-6496.

Is insurance included in a monthly car rental?

Yes. On every car of the monthly offer the price includes our Protection plan, so there is no daily cover charge on top — booked day by day it would be from $50 a day. Bring your own policy if you prefer; the monthly price stays the same. A refundable deposit is held and returns 5–7 business days after a clean return. Nizo Luxury, +1 (424) 303-6496.

Do you deliver a monthly rental to my apartment, Airbnb or hotel?

Yes — to an apartment, a house, an Airbnb or a hotel in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Santa Monica or anywhere else in Los Angeles. Delivery and collection inside ten miles of our Robertson Boulevard lot is $75 each way, priced by distance beyond that and quoted before you commit; at our four Beverly Hills partner hotels it is complimentary. Landing at LAX, the car can be waiting for you: LAX is $150 both ways with the car in the airport parking structure or $300 both ways to the terminal, half that for one direction. It is handed over with the paperwork already done, and collected from the same place on the last day.

Can I rent an exotic long-term — a G 63 or a Lamborghini for a month?

Yes. The Cullinan, the Maybach, the G 63, the Lamborghinis and the other two-seaters go out by the month as well, and a month in any of them is quoted rather than tabled: send the car and the dates to contact@nizoluxury.com and the figure comes back in writing, with the cover, the deposit and the delivery on it. Every car is on the fleet page with its live day rate.

My boss is coming to LA for a week and wants something nicer than a regular rental, like a Range Rover — can it go on the company card?

Yes, on both counts. The black Range Rover Sport is $286 a day, and seven days comes to $2,002 for the car — priced by the day on this car, where the saving arrives at the twenty-one-day block. It goes on the company card on file or on an invoice to the company, paid before the car is collected, and it is delivered to the hotel — complimentary at our four Beverly Hills partner hotels, the Beverly Wilshire, the Four Seasons at Doheny, L’Ermitage and the Maybourne. If he would rather be driven for the evenings, the same car goes out with a chauffeur, from $100 an hour on a two-hour minimum, as a second line on the same invoice.

Can my company be invoiced?

Yes. The invoice goes to the company and is paid before the car is collected — the driver named, the dates, the car, sales tax as its own line, and a purchase-order number on it if your process needs one. A W-9 goes to accounts on request and a certificate of insurance to your risk contact before the booking starts. A relocation of several months is one invoice for the whole period, or one a month if that is how your accounts prefer it. Opening the account is an email to contact@nizoluxury.com.

More about monthly and long-term rental in Los Angeles

Nizo Luxury rents cars in Los Angeles by the month as well as by the day, rated 5.0 from 67 Google reviews. On the monthly offer, SUVs, convertibles and minivans go out for 30 days at one price, from $1,450 — about $48 a day — and long-term rental works the same way for three months or six: one car, one booking, one invoice. A monthly booking is a named car, delivered to the apartment, the office or the hotel and kept for as long as the stay runs, with the commuting mileage written into the booking. It is what a relocating executive drives while the company sorts the lease, what a production keeps for a two-month shoot, and what a household drives while its own car is in the body shop. The luxury cars — the Range Rover Sport, the BMW 7 Series and the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 — go out by the month as well, on their own day, week and month rates. Below: how a month is priced, the luxury cars by the month, and the questions companies ask before they sign.

How a monthly car rental is priced

On the monthly offer a month is one price for 30 days, from $1,450 for the Chevrolet Trailblazer to $3,500 for the Maserati Grecale, and every day after the first 30 costs a thirtieth of it, so day 42 is not a second month. The yellowMaserati Grecale is $300 a day, $9,000 for 30 days booked one by one, and $3,500 on the monthly price — 61% less, $117 a day; six weeks comes to $4,900 against $12,600. A booking shorter than 30 days is priced by the day. The price is the car with the Protection plan included; sales tax and delivery are their own lines on the quote, and the booking form charges exactly the figures in the price table.

Luxury and exotic cars by the month

A month is the twenty-one-day block plus the cheapest mix of week blocks and single days: the black Range Rover Sport is $6,873 for thirty days against $8,580 by the day — 20% off. Every car in the fleet carries a day rate; most also carry a five-day block and a twenty-one-day block, each a total for the period rather than a multiple of the day. When you send dates, the quote takes whichever combination of day, week and month blocks costs least across them — there is no percentage discount to ask for and no code to find, and you never pay more than the days come to. Whether the week block beats five single days depends on the car — on several it does not, and the saving arrives at the month instead; the per-car arithmetic is in why a longer rental costs less. The cars of the monthly offer work differently: there, 30 days is one price, and every day after it the same thirtieth.

Worked on the car this page is built around, all in: the Range Rover Sport is $286 a day and $4,299 for the twenty-one-day block, so $6,873 for the car across thirty days; cover at this car’s band is $100 a day, $3,000 for the month; sales tax at 10.25% on both — about $10,900 for the month, before delivery. That total is in the quote before you commit.

Cover goes one of two ways. Your own policy, if it does four things: collision and comprehensive rather than liability only, a physical-damage limit that reaches the car, no exclusion for exotic or high-value rentals, and every driver named on both the policy and the booking. Or cover arranged with the booking, by the day, set by the car’s deposit band — from $50 to $225 a day. A refundable deposit is held on every booking and returns 5–7 business days after a clean return. The whole tariff, car by car, is with the luxury car rental prices by the day.

Luxury cars people keep for a month

The cars people keep for a month rather than a weekend. The figures are the live fleet rates, and the thirty-day column is what the booking form would charge for the car on those dates.

Car A day twenty-one-day block Thirty days
Range Rover Sport $286 $4,299 $6,873
BMW 7 Series $230 $4,499 $6,569
Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 $229 $3,149 $5,164
Mercedes-AMG GT 43 $229 $3,999 $6,014

The car alone, before cover and sales tax. The thirty-day figure is the cheapest combination of blocks for thirty consecutive days; a longer stay is priced the same way across its own dates. The rest of the fleet — the Cullinan, the Maybach, the G 63, the two-seaters — is on the fleet page, and a month in any of them is quoted rather than tabled.

Relocating, or here for a project

An executive arriving for six months, a producer here for a two-month shoot, a consultant on a quarter-long engagement: the shape is the same. The company is invoiced and pays before the car is collected; the person driving is named on the booking — a passport and home licence for a visitor, a state licence for a resident — minimum age 21; and the whole period is one booking on one invoice, with sales tax as its own line, rather than a rental that has to be renewed and re-expensed every few weeks. A purchase-order number goes on the invoice if your process needs one. How the account is opened and what it carries is on the corporate page.

The car comes to you. Delivery to the apartment, the office or the hotel is priced by distance from our Robertson Boulevard lot — $75 each way inside ten miles, quoted beyond that and confirmed before you commit — and it is complimentary at our four Beverly Hills partner hotels, the Beverly Wilshire, the Four Seasons at Doheny, L’Ermitage and the Maybourne. The handover happens at the door with the paperwork already done, and the car is collected from the same kerb at the end. The delivery page has the ladder and the airport tiers.

Commuting mileage is written into the booking: tell us the commute when you send the dates, and the allowance is agreed on paper before anything is committed.

Two pages worth reading before a long stay: the California DMV on driver’s licences for when a new resident must swap a licence, and IRS Publication 463 on what a company can claim for a car on assignment.

Monthly rental or a lease?

The monthly rental wins on everything a lease cannot do. There is no commitment beyond the month, so a project that ends early ends the car with it. There is no registration, no insurance in your own name and no plates to organise — the car arrives plated and serviced, with cover arranged on the booking rather than in your name, and leaves the same way. The car can change month to month: the SUV while the family is here, the saloon once they have gone. And it is delivered and collected, which a lease is not.

A stay measured in months, or one whose end date might move, is what the monthly rental is built for: send the dates and the quote comes back for the whole period.

Long-term car rental while your car is in the body shop

Your own car is in for six weeks and the shop will not say which six. On the monthly offer, six weeks in the yellowMaserati Grecale is $4,900, against $12,600 booked day by day. That is an ordinary booking here, not a special product: the car is delivered to the house on the day yours goes in, kept for as long as the repair takes, and collected the day yours comes back. If the repair runs long, the booking extends by email rather than starting again; if yours comes back early, say so and the car is collected early.

Two things people ask. Which car: the ones people keep for six weeks — the Range Rover Sport and the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 — for the room and the quiet ride; and if the weeks turn into a school run, the swap to a seven-seater is a message. And the paperwork: one itemised invoice for the whole period, which is what an insurer’s rental-reimbursement claim asks for.
